What it costs

Crevano is a design app you pay for, with a free basic tier that is genuinely usable. Opening the studio and designing in it costs nothing. The paid plan is the full template library and the print-ready output.

Crevano runs on a computer or a tablet, in the browser. It is a layout tool — real trim sizes, guides, and dragging to a fraction of an inch — so it wants a mouse or a tablet-sized screen. On a Mac or PC you can install it straight from the browser: no app store, no approval, no fee.

There is no watermark on anything you export, on any plan, ever. Not on the free plan, not on a trial, not after you cancel. Plenty of tools give you a free tier and then sign your work for you; we do not, and we are not going to start.

Free

$0

No card. No sign-up to open the studio.

  • The studio itself — pages at a real size, type, shapes, layers, guides and bleed marks.
  • Your own photographs, as many as you like.
  • The whole element library: photographs, cut-out word art and clip art.
  • 106 of the 357 templates, spread across every one of the 25 sections.
  • PNG and JPEG export, at full resolution.
  • Saving a project file to your own device, and opening it again later.
Open the studio

Your work saves to your own device as a project file. Nothing is held in an account you have to keep paying for.

Paid

$99 a year

That is $8.25 a month, billed once a year — $45 less than paying monthly, or more than 3 months free. Month to month is $12.

  • Every template — the other 251 as well as the 106 above.
  • Print PDF with bleed and crop marks, which is the file a commercial printer actually wants.
  • KDP export, set up to Amazon’s own numbers.
  • Refine edge on the background remover, beyond the small free allowance.
Tell me when it opens

Everything on the free plan is included, and the no-watermark promise applies here too.

The paid plan is not open for sign-ups yet. The prices and the trial above are settled and they are what it will cost — we are publishing them now rather than after, so nobody starts a project without knowing. Leave an email and you will hear on the day it opens. The free plan works right now, in full, with no account.

The trial, and what happens at the end of it

  • The trial runs 14 days and gives you everything on the paid plan.
  • You give us a card to start it. Nothing is charged during the trial.
  • We email you on day 12, while there is still time to cancel.
  • If you do nothing, the plan you picked starts on day 15 and the card is charged $12 or $99.
  • If you cancel, you are not charged, and you drop back to the free plan rather than being locked out. Everything you made is still yours — the project files are on your own device, not in an account.

Two weeks rather than one, on purpose. A book cover or a brochure is not something you finish in a weekend, and a trial that ends before your project does is not a trial — it is a surprise.

True on every plan

No watermark, on anything, ever — including the free plan and including after you cancel.

No account needed to open the studio and design in it.

Your project files are yours. A project saves to your own device and opens again from there, so nothing you make is held hostage by a lapsed subscription.

What you are allowed to do with what you make

This is a separate question from what the plan costs, and the answer does not change between plans.

Anything you make in Crevano is yours to publish and sell — a book on Amazon, a listing on Etsy, print-on-demand, or work you hand to a client. No royalty, no credit, and the permission does not expire. That is true on the free plan as well as the paid one, and it stays true if you cancel.

What is not allowed is reselling our photographs and clip art as things in themselves — as packs, files, stock, or posters and mugs of our images. You may sell what you designed; you may not sell what we drew. The full wording is in the terms.

Questions

What does it cost?

The studio is free to start. The paid plan is $12 a month or $99 a year, with a 14-day trial. Paying yearly works out at $8.25 a month, which is $45 less than paying monthly for a year — more than 3 months free.

What happens when the trial ends?

We email you on day 12, while there is still time to cancel. If you do nothing, the plan you picked starts and you are charged $12 or $99. If you cancel, you are not charged, and everything you made during the trial is still yours — the project files are on your own device.

Is there a watermark on the free plan?

No. There is no watermark on anything you export, on any plan, ever. That is a permanent promise about the product and not a limited-time offer.

Can I sell what I make?

Yes, on either plan, and it stays true if you cancel. No royalty, no credit, and the permission does not expire. What you may not do is resell our photographs and clip art as things in themselves — as packs, files or stock. You may sell what you designed; you may not sell what we drew.
