Which browser to use
Every feature of Crevano works in every modern browser, on a computer, a phone or a tablet. Two things are better in Chrome and Edge on a computer, and both are about files.
The difference
| | Chrome / Edge on a computer | Safari, Firefox, phones, tablets | |---|---|---| | Designing, exporting, printing | Yes | Yes | | Save straight to a file you choose | Yes | You get an ordinary download instead | | ⌘S writes back to the same file | Yes | Each save is a new download | | Mirror every project into a folder | Yes | Not available | | Double-click a .crev to open it | Yes, once installed | No |
Nothing is missing anywhere else — you just get a download where Chrome and Edge get a save.
On a phone or tablet
The full studio runs. A few things to know:
- Long-press an element instead of right-clicking. It opens the same menu.
- The toolbar scrolls sideways when it runs out of room, and it starts at the right-hand end, where the print and share buttons are.
- Install it to the home screen and you get the whole screen with no browser bars, which makes a real difference on a small display. See Install Crevano.
If something looks wrong
- Reload the page. Crevano updates itself in the background and occasionally needs one reload to finish.
- Check you are not in a private window. Nothing is kept in one.
- Try Chrome or Edge if you are on something older, and tell us what happened — File → Report a problem inside the app sends it straight to us.
> Note > The one browser setting that will bite you is anything that blocks site storage — a strict > privacy mode, or an extension that clears data on close. Crevano keeps your projects in that > storage. If your gallery is empty every time you return, that is why. See > My projects have disappeared.
