Word stickers, phrases and clip art

Crevano ships with 1,171 word stickers — words and phrases already set in type and cut out with a printed sticker edge — plus 27 clip-art graphics. They behave like photos, not like text.

Add one

  1. Click Elements in the left rail.
  2. Click the Clip Art tile. Phrases and Stickers are shortcuts into the same panel with the filter already set.
  1. Narrow it down with the kind list at the top: All clip art, Power phrases, Power words or Affirmations.
  2. Or type what you are after into Describe your clip art….
  3. Click one to drop it in the middle of the page, or drag it to where you want it.

Whatever you place shows up under Recently used at the top of the panel, which is the quickest way back to a set you are working through.

What you can and cannot change

A word sticker is a picture of words, so:

You can — move it, resize it from a corner, rotate it, set its opacity, put it in a frame, give it a border, put it on a layer, group it with other things, and knock it out of a shape.

You cannot — retype it, or change its colour or typeface.

If you need those, use a real text block instead and give it the Sticker cut effect, which draws the same white die-cut edge around your own words. See Add text and style it.

> Note > Resize a sticker from a corner handle, not a side. Word art is the thing people > stretch by accident, and stretched type is the fastest way to make a good page look wrong.

What you may use them for

Anything personal — your board, your family's, a gift, printed as many times as you like. What is not allowed is reselling the photographs and clip art themselves, as packs, files, or posters and mugs of our images. Your own photographs and your own words are always entirely yours. If you are planning something for a business, write to [email protected] and ask; we expect to say yes.
